Masuda Funai Joins State of Illinois Delegation at Hannover Messe in Germany

Masuda Funai sponsored the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity at this year's Hannover Messe trade fair held in Hannover, Germany from April 24-28, 2016. Representing Masuda Funai were Thomas McMenamin, the firm's President, and Reinhold Krammer, a Principal and member of the firm's European Services Team.

The Department of Commerce led the largest-ever U.S. delegation to Hannover Messe, with the United States serving as the official partner country for the first time in the history of the event. The delegation included the State of Illinois, which was represented by various economic development offices within Illinois, in addition to its sponsors – Masuda Funai, ComEd and America's Central Port.

On April 26th, Masuda Funai also sponsored a private Executive Business Dinner on behalf of the State of Illinois' Office of Trade and Investment, featuring James M. Schultz, Chief Executive Officer of the Illinois Business and Economic Development Corporation.

Hannover Messe is the world's leading trade fair for industrial technology, and 2016 attracted more than 190,000 attendees from 70 countries.
