Masuda, Funai, Eifert & Mitchell, Ltd., through the efforts of Kathleen Gaber, has been assisting the world renown Joffrey Ballet to bring ballet dancers, ballet masters, choreographers, repetiteurs, lighting designers, costume designers, musicians and other supporting staff to the United States to assist them with their productions for more than 13 years.

As one of the leading ballet companies in the world, The Joffrey has a repertory of more than 200 ballets, based on the work of over 80 internationally recognized choreographers. The Joffrey has performed in over 400 U.S. cities, in all 50 states, as well as abroad. The Joffrey was the first American company to tour the former Soviet Union, as well as the first dance company to perform at the White House. The Joffrey has also pioneered dance on television, inaugurating public television’s “Dance in America” series.

In 2003, Director Robert Altman directed a feature film called “The Company” based on The Joffrey and, most recently, The Joffrey was celebrated by the PBS documentary “Mavericks of American Dance,” which details the company’s history and effects on the world. The Joffrey has recognized our Firm’s efforts on several occasions, including the attached ad in their Spring 2018 program.
