On Thursday, October 22, 2020, Bob White, Principal of Masuda Funai’s Immigration Practice Group, spoke at the NAFSA: Association of International Educators Region V 2020 Virtual Conference. The National Association of Foreign Student Advisers (NAFSA) hosted a three-day event held virtually this year due to COVID-19. The event included informative sessions and thought-provoking discussions targeting all areas in the field of international education. Attendees were able to connect (and re-connect) at a variety of virtual social and networking events, and meet the Region V leadership team to learn how to get involved in the region during this critical time. Bob White’s session analyzed current and upcoming immigration hot topics/issues, including those discussed during various Regional Conference Government Sessions.
