I Am Reluctant to Call My Lawyer

2.14.14

Across the country, clients are increasingly reluctant to call their lawyers because of the high costs associated with the delivery of legal services whether on a "one-off" matter or a continuing legal matter. Today, some law firm clients rely on the internet and others rely on past practice or the advice of others to answer legal questions. In an effort to remove the reluctance to call and to help prevent significant potential liabilities, the Employment, Labor and Benefits Practice Group has entered into retainer arrangements with some clients in order to make legal fees more predictable for routine matters. Although a legal services retainer is not appropriate for all types of businesses or for complex legal questions, please do not hesitate to call a member of the Employment, Labor and Benefits Practice Group to inquire about the availability of a retainer agreement for your company.
