Kathie is a Principal and Chair of Masuda Funai’s Immigration Practice Group with more than three decades of experience. She manages more than 15 attorneys and paralegals and is a frequent speaker on immigration issues. She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America, Illinois Super Lawyers “Top Women Lawyers, and Leading Lawyers.
For the past 13 years, Kathie has been assisting the world renown Joffrey Ballet to bring ballet dancers, ballet masters, choreographers, repetiteurs, lighting designers, costume designers, musicians and other supporting staff to the United States to assist Joffrey Ballet with its productions. Kathie is also a member of Alliott Group’s Global Mobility Services, a global alliance of 160 firms in 60 countries, and advises on changes to immigration regulations and procedures being implemented by the current U.S. Administration.
